The Journey

The journey – which will take place February 2020 – is not simply a case of driving from point A to point B. Instead, it’s all about enjoying the road trip in your cherished car with fellow motoring enthusiasts. In addition, entrants will visit historical sites and towns plus points of interest where they will be awarded Thunderball chips for completing exciting challenges by making use of clues that are provided to them.

The trip includes four nights of luxury accommodation for you and a partner. Breakfast is included, with a tailored three-course dinner also served after each day of exhilarating driving fun.

During the picturesque commute, “Checkered Flag” parties, which include live entertainment, will be provided at each pitstop. The grand finale “Checkered Flag” party, where top DJs and bands will serve up live entertainment, will take place at a gala dinner.

The Entry

The entry fee of R50 000 (excluding VAT) further includes a support crew, accompanying drivers and their partners on the road trip and a private security company to ensure the entrants’ vehicles are kept safe. A personalised concierge service, car-cleaning team and embroidered rally pit shirts are included, too.
